Hello friends and fellow Corgi lovers! On Friday, November 22nd, Toby the Pembroke Welsh Corgi was attacked by a neighborâs dogs in his own backyard. Please join us in raising money for this Texas sweetheart’s care so he can be back with his family soon!
Please help Toby and his family. Any little bit makes a huge difference! I learned through everyone helping with Ed!
Hi Jasper, Thistle here, been awhile ! Wow on the calendar!!!next the Video!! I wanted to tell you that my UPs litter mate came over with Radar the choc lab, and one of his litter came over , nephew with June bug, and the UR from next door and his canine ,and me, all walked down to the beach and went fishing, it was glorious like a garden of human gardenias
So glad you liked the calendar and video! Your trip to the beach sounds WONDERFUL! Alas, I have never been to the beach. I made it to the boardwalk once, but that was as close as I got. Tell me… what was the sand like in your fur? I think that’s what my Uprights are afraid of… me bringing a third of the beach back with me!
Good evening Jasper! I the Corgdent at MIT about using your adjacent angles for my Dogtrate my , advisor was not quite sold , but I showed him the mirrored face adjacent .Jasper, he believes your quantum mechanics is remarkable!!!! Thanks Jasper
I glad the mirrors closed the deal! To have not allowed you to proceed would have been unconscionable!
Hey Jasper, I'm thinking about getting your calendar for myself for Christmas. I just wanted to make sure it comes whole and not all chewed up. They don't let you sign each one, right? I actually wouldn't mind if you did, but that's beside the point. Thank you for being the cutest corgi in the world!
Hello! It was a complicated choice, but I finally decided it was of the utmost importance that all calendars arrive intact without ANY shredding, biting or chewing. It will arrive pristine and in shrink wrap direct from CafePress. There aren’t any “pawtographed” copies this year, but perhaps next year! Thanks so much for your kind words!
Hi Jasper I am from MIT (orMITT) to you. Two MIT brothers are famous for developing a new form of Measurement the SMOOT. The brothers laid head to foot on a bridge the Charles declared it to be xyz Smoots. I would love to do my Thesis on your 45 degree angle adjacent measurement
This is a fantastic idea! Just let me know what I can do to assist!
You are a unique creature Jasper, and you have the take on life.your innocence helps others appreciate our gifts, and you are one. So are your Mum and Da they share themselves through your grace. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your wonderfully kind words! I (and the Uprights) truly enjoy sharing my pictures and messages like yours really reinforce just why we do it. Thank you!
Hey Jasper, I am coming out of the WIN stupor!!!! I gotta ask, mmm where is your rear leg in today's post? You are Magic front leg, missing in one pix rear leg missing in another, way cool. I am glad the SOXS won , soooo glad, and the Cards are always a good team.
I do seem to have missing leg syndrome! I like to keep the paper bits guessing so I never show all my legs at once. Have to keep a tactical advantage!
Hi Jasper,Thistle here. I was wondering what are your favorite games you play with the URs? BTW I saw the video where you were playing barber with your Da, very through. Your friend, Thistle
Hi Thistle! I am a HUGE fan of keep away with my favorite rubber ball. If we don’t play right after dinner things can get pretty ugly. I run around with such fervor, it only takes 15 - 20 minutes to totally tucker me out!
Hey Jasper and Uprights! I am selecting you guys to share 5 random facts about yourselves (either about Jasper, or the URs). Once you have shared your facts pick 10 of your followers to do the same! Time to learn something fun and new about old friends!
This is wonderful! Thank you so much for thinking of me!
Ok… let’s see. 5 random facts:
1.) I am cute and cuddly, but I can be a bit of a… well… jerk :) I’ve mastered the art of looking away when I’m being asked to do something I don’t want to. When Da tries to take me for a walk, and I’m not interested, I’ll either go limp or totally tense up and become immovable. I always lose in the end, but I delight in creating a challenge.
2.) While I’ve gotten better with my fear of unpleasant noises (smoke alarm, etc) I have a new way of dealing with them. I used to hide under the bed or in a closet. Now I sit upright along a VERY specific 3 feet of wall in the dining room until it stops.
3.) I’ve written a total of 114 Haiku, which surprised even me! The full anthology with pics is here.
4.) In all of the places where I lost fur during the worst of the allergies and infections I now have hyperpigmentation. Most of the fur has finally grown back but I do have some very interesting skin coloring that can only be seen when I’m getting a bath. Except for my bum where you can see my dark patches all of the time.
5.) I have a very complicated relationship with ice cubes. Whenever I get one I always scurry over to the front left corner of the carpet in the living room where I enjoy my ice cube semi-privately.
